Using AI to tell the story of places and showcase what makes them unique
A dedicated Artificial Intelligence training session will be led by Giorgio Taverniti, Founder & Tech Speaker at Search On Media Group, one of the leading international experts in AI and digital. The session will explore how AI tools can be used to promote cultural and tourism assets, tell local stories in new ways and strengthen the ability of places to attract interest and visitors, while keeping knowledge, identity and human expertise at the centre.
“The challenge is not to use Artificial Intelligence to make every place tell the same story. It is exactly the opposite: using it to bring out what makes each place unique. Heritage, culture, people and local knowledge are the real starting point; AI can amplify their value, create new ways to make them accessible and unlock opportunities that were previously hard to imagine. That relationship between technology and identity will be at the heart of our training session in Monasterace,” says Giorgio Taverniti, Founder & Tech Speaker at Search On Media Group, one of the leading international experts in AI and digital.
The event will open at 6:00 pm with a short press conference on activities developed within the project, followed by talks, training and startup pitches. The evening will conclude with B2B meetings and networking, followed by an informal reception designed to encourage new connections among participants.
“31 August will be an important date for Monasterace and our entire community: a chance to discover new ventures, meet experts and innovative organisations, and explore the opportunities created by emerging technologies. We invite residents, businesses and young people to join us for an evening that once again places our town at the centre of a conversation about identity, innovation and the future,” says Carlo Murdolo, Mayor of Monasterace.
The event is part of +M.O.R.E., which has brought training programmes, events, artistic and educational residencies, workshops and initiatives supporting new entrepreneurship to Monasterace, linking innovation with the promotion and enhancement of local heritage.
Participation in “Intelligenza di Comunità” is free of charge.
